How to disable a Cygnett TravelTag Omni
This article refers to the Voyager Bluetooth® TravelTag with Wireless Recharging (Omni) and Google's Find My Device app.
The TravelTag Omni can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google's Find My Device app, and the owner will stop receiving location updates.
If you receive a message on your Android device that a TravelTag Omni has been detected near you and don’t recognise this device, you can make it ring via the system notification. After locating the item, follow the steps below to disable it. Once enabled, the card will stop sending location updates and it will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.
By pressing and holding the button:
- Locate the button near the centre of the card, on the left-hand side.
- Press and hold the button for approximately 15 seconds. The card will beep in 1-second intervals.
- Release the button. The TravelTag Omni will then be disabled.
How to re-enable a Cygnett TravelTag Omni
- Press the button once to re-enable the TravelTag Omni.
- When re-enabled, you’ll hear two quick beeps confirming it’s active. It will automatically reconnect to your device.
