Follow these steps to securely attach your Cygnett windscreen-compatible phone mount:
- Clean the windscreen
Thoroughly clean and dry the area where the mount will be attached. For best results, use a glass cleaner or alcohol-based cleaning wipe to remove dust, dirt and residue. - Prepare the suction cup
Remove any protective film from the suction cup before installation. Make sure the suction cup is clean and free from debris. - Attach the mount
Position the suction cup firmly against the glass. While maintaining pressure against the windscreen, tighten the gripping cap to secure the mount in place. - Consider the temperature
For the strongest hold, install the mount when both the windscreen and suction cup are at a moderate temperature. Very cold surfaces can reduce the suction cup's ability to form a secure seal.
Operating tip: Over time, the swivel mechanism may become loose with regular use. Should this occur, gently tighten the screws using a small Phillips-head screwdriver.
